David ‘Davido’ Adeleke may not be the sole owner of the private plane he claims to have purchased.
The owner of Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) had announced the purchase last week, eight days after buying a Porsche as a birthday present for his girlfriend, Chioma.
“Air OBO will soon land, this final Nah, it’s already bought … It’s not soup, it’s hard work and great ambition,” said the singer of ‘Ada’ on social media.
According to the capital, Davido’s participation in the private jet is “fractional ownership”.
The report says that Davido’s financial commitment to the agreement is minimal, while the chief financiers have chosen to remain behind the scenes to give the singer a “prominence granted”.
It is said that the measure is part of a commercial strategy to increase the profitability of Davido in the entertainment industry.
The agreement, says the report, is aimed at attracting lucrative business from multinational companies, countries and other foreign entities.
It is said that the main parties interested in the agreement agreed on a percentage of exchange of possible contracts.
According to the report, several wealthy Nigerians are in a membership plan where they pay “the approximate cost of a first-class air ticket” to have a private jet at their disposal.
